It has long been clear that an unchecked pursuit of “more and more” is exhausting both the planet and ourselves. Yet it would be far more exciting to define what “enough” means. How can we reinterpret this concept in a new and positive way? In what ways do we have enough, and what makes us rich beyond profit? Where is our anthropocentric view of the world insufficient? And what can art, culture, and creativity contribute to this discourse?

It’s always easier to talk over a meal, so we invite you to join us for lunch, featuring brief presentations by Verena Schröder (geographer), Claudia Paganini (philosopher), and Karin Pernegger (curator).

A table for 25 people, three vegetarian courses, three speakers, and a diverse group of tablemates for conversations and an inspiring exchange of ideas across disciplinary boundaries and roles. That’s why we’re asking you to bring someone from a different field than your own. Glacier researcher, educator, farmer, philosopher, artisan… the more diverse the group, the better (separate registration required).
